The challenge
What was in the way.
Patients booked by phone, reminders were sent by hand, and missed appointments left gaps in clinic schedules every day. Test results and prescriptions were handed out on paper. The group wanted a single app for all its clinics, in Arabic and English, that met health data rules and worked for older patients as well as younger ones.

The solution.
A patient app and web portal for booking, reminders, prescriptions and results, connected to the group’s hospital information system. Clinic staff get a simple scheduling view with waiting lists that fill cancelled slots automatically.

How we worked

Design started with sessions in three clinics, including patients over 60. We tested each screen with real patients before building it.
